Quantum Victoria PrintACar Challenge

August 21 @ 8:00 am - August 22 @ 5:00 pm

Print a car
The Quantum Victoria PrintACar Challenge is a statewide competition providing Primary and Secondary Students with an authentic STEM project. It combines design thinking, teamwork, 3D printing technologies, and friendly competition to foster creativity, critical thinking, and a passion for STEM education.

Students design and 3D-print their own car to race on our specially-designed track. They document their process in a portfolio, encouraging students to refine their designs, optimize performance, and apply principles of physics and engineering to achieve the best results.

By participating in this challenge, students develop valuable skills that are essential for their futures in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Expressions of interest are now open to register up to two teams of 2-4 students to compete for the coveted overall Primary (Year 3-6) and overall Secondary (Year 7-11) winners’ prize and a championship trophy for your school. A school may enter a maximum of 2 teams into the competition from primary year levels and 2 teams from secondary year levels, with the possibility of an additional team for P-12 schools upon written request.

Team Registrations close on Friday 6th June.

This event is free for all Victorian schools.
